How to delete your account from the app
- Open the GymCrew app on your device.
- Go to the Profile tab (bottom-right).
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile (name, username, email, birth year).
- All workout logs and personal records.
- Friends, crew memberships, and social activity.
- Achievements, badges, and leaderboard entries.
- All comments, likes, and other content you have posted.
- Wellness, body measurements, and grip strength entries.
- Profile photos.
What is retained
No personal data is retained after account deletion. Anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g., total app workouts) may be retained but cannot be linked back to you. Subscription receipts kept by Google Play are subject to Google's own retention policy and are outside of our control.
Subscription cancellation
Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To cancel your subscription, go to Google Play → Subscriptions and cancel from there. After deletion, the subscription will continue billing until you cancel it through Google Play.
If you cannot access the app
If you have lost access to the app and need to request deletion by email, write to privacy@gymcrew.net from the email address associated with your account. We will process the request within 30 days.
